Bcc: If you would like another person to receive a copy of your message, but do not want to show their email address to anyone else receiving a copy of the message, you would place their address within this area rather than the "Cc:" section.

Attachment: In addition to sending text messages, you can email files, such as photos, video, music, or documents. Simply click the "Browse" button to locate the file on your local system or disk, select the file you wish to attach, and the filename will appear within the "Attachment" area. When you click "Send Message" the file will be emailed to the person referenced within the "To:" area of your email message.

Send Message: After you have composed your email, simply click the "Send Message" button to deliver the message.

Preferences: This toolbar button transfers you to an area where you can configure your personal email settings and setup nicknames/address books. You can also set additional options such as automatic mail check, and mail alerts.

Help: Unfamiliar with a certain Direct Read Email feature? Not sure how to send a message? Having trouble transferring or removing your mailbox content? "Help" provides you with instant access to our Direct Read Email help pages.

Spell Check: After you've typed your message, you can click on this toolbar icon to check the spelling within your message. A pop-up window will display a copy of your message, and a "question mark" will appear next to any word with a questionable spelling. If the "question mark" is clicked, a list of alternate spellings will appear, and you may choose to substitute another word at that time, or stick with your original spelling. When you've made all your spelling changes, click the "Done" button, and your original message will automatically update itself with the new spelling changes in place.
