  Tips for Accessing NewsguyGroups:

Why can't I find a specific NewsguyGroup™?
NewsguyGroups™ can be accessed from our directory listing, or by submitting a group's title through our access area. If a title is mistyped or incorrect, when you attempt to submit the title, you'll receive a "can't find group" error message. At this point you'll want to verify the group's title before you resubmit your access request. Please note that NewsguyGroups™ begin with the word "newsguy.", followed by a group's name. As an example:

newsguy.janes-photography
newsguy.musicexchange
newsguy.the_smith_family
newsguy.company-x.techsupport

What is a "Members-Only" NewsguyGroup™?
When someone creates a NewsguyGroup™ they can provide "Members-Only" or "Open" user access. If the "Open" option is selected, the group will be accessible to anyone with a paid or free Newsguy account. If the "Members-Only" option is selected, users will have to request access to the group, and the group's creator will approve or disapprove their request.

Why can't I access adult themed NewsguyGroups™?
If you are unable to access an adult themed NewsguyGroup™ you may have selected the "non-adult content" option within your Newsguy account. This option either permits or prevents access to adult themed groups, and you can change this setting by visiting your "My Account" area and clicking on the "Account Details / Account Settings" tab.
